Princess Kate to select furniture from Royal warehouse for new home
Princess Kate and Prince William are set to move to Forest Lodge by Christmas
Princess Kate and Prince William are set to move into a bigger home in Windsor Great Park by Christmas.
Kensington Palace this week announced that the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis will be moving to Forest Lodge.
For context, Forest Lodge is an eight-bedroom residence, and the royal couple will pay a market rent for the property, reported by The Mirror.
It has now been reported that Princess Kate will have access to select furniture from an enormous warehouse located on the grounds of Windsor Castle. According to Royal Author Richard kay, Kate will be able to use the California Stores to help decorate her new home.
Speaking on the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential podcast, he explained: 'It has eight bedrooms and the princess has indeed been looking for the appropriate furniture.
She hasn't got to buy anything, because the royals have enormous storage unit known as California stores. It's bigger than any museum, she is always said to choose a large dining table for the new home.'
Meanwhile, Royal commentator and journalist Robert Jobson told The Sun: 'Prince William could become less connected to the people. I think you have got to be careful.'
Royal expert Matt Wilkon added that Prince William prefers to raise his children in the countryside.
