Meghan Markle steps into former role in new As Ever promo: Watch
The Duchess of Sussex evokes major nostalgia as she promotes her Napa Valley Rosé
Meghan Markle is serving some major nostalgia to promote the latest launch of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
On Thursday, August 7, the Duchess of Sussex channelled her waitressing days — before she became an actress and later joined the royal fold by marrying Prince Harry — to promote her best-selling Napa Valley Rosé via As Ever’s Instagram page, striking a pose with a tray in hand.
Dressed in an airy white blouse with balloon sleeves and neutral trousers, the mom-of-two looked every bit the hostess, smiling as she balanced a bottle of her wine alongside two glasses.
“Well served, and well deserved. Cheers!” read the caption accompanying the short clip.
The moment instantly brought back memories of her early days in Chicago, when she briefly worked as a cocktail waitress.
On episode seven of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the 44-year-old revealed she once got promoted from coat check to cocktail service — only to bungle the job by mishearing a drink order. She was swiftly moved back to coats.
Luckily, she’s clearly found her groove. The rosé’s initial launch on July 1 sold out within the hour. The limited-edition vintage dropped just after Meghan’s 44th birthday on August 4, which she marked at L.A.’s Funke restaurant.
She also shared a snap of her birthday cake from her personal account, thanking her husband Prince Harry and loved ones for making the day “so special” for her.
