Ed Sheeran reunites with Rupert Grint, Nathalie Emmanuel for music comeback
Ed Sheeran drops 'A Little More' with Rupert Grint and Nathalie Emmanuel in hilarious music video
Ed Sheeran has released a new single titled A Little More along with an official video featuring Rupert Grint and Nathalie Emmanuel.
The video quickly caught attention for its mix of comedy and confusion, especially after a week of strange activity on Sheeran’s social media where Grint appeared to be in charge.
The song is a smart and upbeat track that blends blues with pop. Its lyrics touch on the importance of protecting one’s peace and standing firm during personal struggles.
The writing team behind the track includes Sheeran, DAVE, Blake Slatkin, Cirkut and Johnny McDaid. Production was handled by Slatkin and Cirkut.
The official video was directed by Emil Nava and brought back the popular duo of Sheeran and Grint. The two last worked together in the 2011 video for "Lego House."
However, this new video picked up the story from there as it showed Grint’s character coming out of prison and trying to start a normal life, but his fresh start kept getting ruined in funny ways as Sheeran kept popping up around every corner.
The story reached its wildest moment at a traditional wedding scene. Grint’s character stood at the altar with his bride, played by Nathalie Emmanuel. But when he looked around, all the wedding guests had Ed Sheeran’s face.
The biggest shock came when he lifted the veil of his bride and faced one last unexpected twist.
"A Little More" is part of Sheeran’s upcoming album titled Play which will be out on September 12. Before this, he teamed up with Arijit Singh on the track "Sapphire," which earned four nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards.
