Prince Harry forced to make tough choice about William as time ticks away

Prince Harry is faced with a major dilemma as he contemplates his next step taken toward finally ending the royal feud going on for the past few years.

While the Duke of Sussex is “desperate” to make amends with his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, he doesn’t seem to share the same sentiments for his elder brother and the heir to the throne, Prince William.

According to reports, the Prince of Wales has no interest in reconciling with Harry even if the whole royal family warms up to him. However, as Harry plans to get back into the royal fold, he cannot bypass his father in any circumstance, according to royal author Tom Bower.

The expert described Harry as “his own worst enemy” given how the rift has impacted his relations with the royals and the Firm.

He told The Mirror that Harry “fears” that if Charles, who is getting weekly treatments for cancer, is not in the picture anymore, William will not hold back and probably banish him from returning all together.

“Whether they’ll meet again in Charles’s lifetime depends on how long Charles lives. I couldn’t say never because I’m sure Charles wants to meet his son, but so much depends on how Harry behaves,” Bower explained.

“Harry is seriously worried that when his father dies one day, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all. He will be persona non grata.”

The Duke made a public plea to reconcile with his father, but it seems that the father and son are still not on speaking terms with one another.

Last week, Harry’s senior aides met with King Charles’s communication secretary which indicated that there is some kind of correspondence taking place between the two camps, possibly to resolve the feud.

However, the warring brothers have shown no signs of backing down from their stance. It seems that Harry is left with a tough decision to make, either he could sacrifice his pride to acquiesce to William or risk his reunion with King Charles.
