Carole and Michael Middleton spotted at Wimbledon ahead of Kate’s return
Carole and Michael Middleton join Duchess of Gloucester in the Royal Box
Carole and Michael Middleton stepped out at Wimbledon on Monday morning for day eight of the iconic tournament at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Arriving under grey skies, the Princess of Wales’s parents were all smiles as they joined fellow spectators, adding a touch of quiet royal presence to the overcast day.
Their daughter, Princess Kate, who has yet to make an appearance at this year’s Championships, remains the most anticipated guest of the season.
Last year, the Princess, who serves as Patron of the club, presented the men's trophy to champion Carlos Alcaraz in what was only her second public engagement following her cancer diagnosis announcement.
While she has remained out of the spotlight in recent months, royal insiders suggest it is "very likely" she will make a Wimbledon appearance this year.
Carole embraced the tournament’s timeless dress code with striped dress. She paired the look with a structured handbag and strappy low-heel sandals.
Michael looked equally sharp in an off white suit, styled with a crisp blue shirt.
The Duchess of Gloucester joined the Middletons in the Royal Box, greeting Carole with a warm embrace as she took her seat.
