Prince Harry mocked in Spitting Image's wild return
Spitting Image takes aim at Meghan with brutal parody
Prince Harry has found himself in the satirical crosshairs once again, as a grotesque puppet version of the Duke of Sussex takes centre stage in the bold return of Spitting Image.
The show has been revived as a new YouTube show titled Spitting Image: The Rest Is Bulls!t*. And in true Spitting Image fashion, no one is spared.
In its debut episode, Harry is mocked as having "no discernible talent", joining a chaotic cast of latex lookalikes that includes Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Keir Starmer, Elon Musk, Angela Rayner, Volodymyr Zelensky, and even Paddington Bear.
The reboot brings back the anarchic spirit of the original series, which first aired from 1984 to 1996, infamous for lampooning the world’s most powerful figures.
Introducing himself with biting self awareness, Puppet Harry quips: "I’m Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Just a regular guy with a title who’s fifth in line to the throne."
He later adds, "I got into podcasting because I have no other discernible talent," drawing laughter from fans and sharp responses from critics.
At one point, the puppet version praises Elon Musk for "cutting the American government down to size," before adding, "I’m trying to do the same with my family!"
Meghan Markle also found herself in the satirical spotlight.
The parody doesn’t stop there. The Duke’s luxurious lifestyle in Montecito, California, comes under fire, along with his ongoing rift with the Royal Family.
In one scene, Harry references his imaginary butler, saying, "Nutrition is important. So Perkins makes me a bacon sandwich in case Meghan has made another one of her rank smoothies."
