Meghan Markle's garden vibes hit sour note as fans question fruit post
Meghan Markle's garden photo sparks questions over fruit-picking scene
Meghan Markle's latest social media post has ignited debate among fans, with many pointing out what they believe to be inconsistencies in the image.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a photo on Saturday via the Instagram account of her lifestyle brand, showing herself picking fruit in her Montecito garden.
The post was captioned, 'Weekend plans:pick, snack, repeat,' accompanied by a peach emoji.
In the image, Meghan is seen standing beneath a fruit tree, reaching up in a fruit-picking pose while wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat embroidered with a monogram.
However, the photo quickly came under scrutiny from royal fans and social media users who questioned the authenticity of the scene-particularly the state of the fruit.
Sharp-eyed followers pointed out that the apricot Meghan appeared to be holding was ripe and golden, while the rest of the fruit visible on the tree looked noticeably green.
'All the other fruit is so green,' one royal fan observed, whilst another commented: 'She's picking green fruit!' A third person remarked: 'The other fruit is not ripe.'
Some questioned whether the apricot Meghan held had even been picked from the tree at all.'
At this point, I would not even believe this apricot was ever attached to the tree,' one person commented.
The timing of the post is notable, a sit coincides with the recent launch of Meghan's apricot fruit spread as part of her brand's product line.
