Princess Kate's sweet Wimbledon moment turns awkward for sister Pippa
Wimbledon is set to begin tomorrow
Wimbledon returns with excitement and one royal is especially thrilled.
Wimbledon is set to begin tomorrow, and the Princess of Wales is expected to be among its most enthusiastic supporters. A lifelong tennis fan, Kate is a regular in Centre Courts' Royal Box, soaking in the thrill of the game.
Last year, she made just her second public appearance after revealing her cancer diagnosis. She attended the men's singles final at the All England Club with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister Pippa Matthews, where they watched Carlos Alcaraz defeat Novak Djokovic in a gripping final.
Kate proudly presented Alcaraz with the trophy, and later chatted with him off-court. She introduced him to Charlotte and asked who his favourite football player was, as Spain prepared to play England in the Euro final that day.
However, there was a slightly awkward moment when Pippa attempted to speak to Alzaraz but was accidentally overlooked as someone else in the crowd grabbed his attention.
Despite Kate's efforts to include her sister, Alcaraz moved on, leaving both women applauding as he headed to the locker room. The royal family were not the only celebrations present-stars like Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, and Benedict Cumberbatch also attended the highly anticipated final.
