Prince William and Prince Harry may not be on speaking terms amid their ongoing royal rift, but their children seem to share a key trait despite their limited interaction.

Prince Archie was only one-year-old when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the UK in 2020 after they stepped down from their senior working royal position in 2020. Meanwhile, Princess Lilibet was born a year later in the couple’s Montecito mansion.

The Sussex children have not met their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis since. Despite not having a close relationship, the children share a unique trait which eagle-eyed fans picked up from Meghan’s latest video.

Meghan shared a video of behind-the-scenes from her brand, As Ever, with a sweet cameo from Lilibet. The four-year-old was seen carrying a Amuseables Rainbow bag from Jellycat as she and her mother crossed a wooden bridge in the footage.

The London-based brand for plushies is also a favourite of William and Kate’s children as it was revealed during a garden party at Buckingham Palace in May.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were presented with two yellow toys in the shape of a lemon pie and a pickled onion at the garden party by the family of Liz Hatton – a teenage photographer who died of cancer in November 2024.

Noting the soft toys, William said, “These are like gold dust. My children go crazy for these things. This is a children's currency.”

In another instance, a six-month-old Charlotte was pictured holding the Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Puppy.

It seems that while the kids maybe divided by distance and the royal rift between their parents, they are still somehow connected by an unexpected invisible string.
