Buckingham Palace sends official invite to US with King Charles wishes
King Charles makes feelings clear in a message sent to key figure in US
Buckingham Palace sent an official invite to a key figure in the US with King Charles' wishes.
As per GB, the Palace's spokesperson shared that the monarch is "looking forward" to hosting United States President Donald Trump and his wife for an official state visit later this year.
An official invitation, referred to as the Manu Regia, has been sent to the White House indicating that formal planning for the visit has commenced.
"His Majesty has known President Trump for many years and looks forward to hosting him and the First Lady later this year," a Palace insider shared.
It is important to note that in February 2025, US President Keir Starmer delivered King Charles' personal letter to Trump in order to invite him for an unprecedented second state visit to the UK.
In response, the US president expressed his fondness for the royal family and accepted the monarch's special gesture.
"It’s a very special place and [Starmer is] a special man – and the United Kingdom is a wonderful country that I know very well, I’m there a lot," he said.
Trump added, "I’ll be going there and we expect to see each other in the near future – we’ll be announcing it."
