Prince Edward shares meaningful message after big win against Sussexes
Royal family issues update on Prince Edward after he performs royal duty close to his heart
Prince Edward performed a special royal duty after receiving good news about his and Duchess Sophie's bright future in the royal family.
According to the Palace, the Duke of Edinburgh recently stepped out to celebrate the success of Gold Award holders.
Notably, he also once received this honour from his late father Prince Philip in 1986.
The Gold Award team released photos of Edward and other guests from the event with a message.
"A wonderful time at our Gold Award celebrations in Northern Ireland."
"Massive congratulations to all of our Gold Award holders – you're all amazing."
"Thank you to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh for hosting the celebrations – what an afternoon it was!"
In his speech, Prince Edward congratulated the attendees on their remarkable achievement.
He said to the award holders to "feel proud" and "walk a few inches taller."
It is important to note that Edward's latest engagement came after royal experts claimed that the House of Edinburgh might replace the House of Sussex in the near future as the active working royals are supporting monarchy at its best.
The royal couple has been working quietly but effectively, especially since King Charles' cancer diagnosis. Moreover, there are reports that Prince William could grant more key roles to Edward and Sophie once he becomes King.
