Kate Middleton gives worrying reminder to King Charles, Prince William

King Charles and Prince William received a concerning update from Princess Catherine, especially at a time when the Prince and Princess of Wales have been prepared for key future roles.

For the unversed, the Princess of Wales pulled off last minute from attending the Royal Ascot 2025 on June 18, sparking questions about her health as she is in remission from cancer.

No further explanation was provided by Kensington Palace regarding the sudden change of plans in the future Queen's work diary.

Daily Mail's royal author, Rebecca English said that Catherine's "sudden absence from Royal Ascot was a timely reminder of her gruelling health battle."

Moreover, Kate Middleton's decision to skip the gathering was also a worrying reminder for the monarch and William.

It is pertinent to note that Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in an emotional video message in March 2024.

She underwent preventative chemotherapy the same year. In 2025, the mother-of-three shared that she has completed her treatment but is not "out of the woods," yet. 

Notably, there are also claims that the Princess of Wales, who gradually marked her return to the royal fold, is also listening to her body and prioritising her health to be fit to support her husband in crucial times ahead.
