The Prince and Princess of Wales presented a meaningful gift to a mourning family
Prince William and Kate Middleton garnered praise for their meaningful decision following the death of a young cancer patient.
The couple gifted a thoughtful present to the family of teenage cancer victim Liz Hatton.
According to Liz's mother, Vicky Robayna, the royal couple gifted the family Ice N Roses Early Rose as its blooming date will be around the late photographer's death anniversary.
In conversation with People, Vicky said, "Liz always said they were two of the most genuine people she ever met, and I think they were just so kind and so down to earth. They were very good with both the children."
She added, "Liz would have said that her favourite part of the whole experience was the way they were with Mateo [Liz's younger brother]. He was really shy and they had him chatting away at the end. She really loved them for that."
"It felt like walking into an extended family and having arms wrapped around you," Liz's mom shared.
It is important to note that Princess Catherine, who also fought a difficult cancer battle, met Liz in October 2024 at Windsor Castle.
William and Kate let her capture photos of the investitures happening at Windsor.
