Sophie's bridal-inspired outfit steals the show at Royal Ascot
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh marked a special milestone today, celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary at Royal Ascot.
Prince Edward and Sophie attended the third day of the prestigious racing event, known as Ladies Day, alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The royal couple arrived as part of the official procession at the Berkshire racecourse, with Their Majesties leading the carriage procession.
Sophie paid tribute to her wedding day with a stunning bridal-inspired ensemble, wearing a white tea dress adorned with a deep green floral print and a distinctive hat featuring flowers and a white veil.
The Duchess of Edinburgh's outfit was a fitting nod to the couple's Windsor wedding exactly 26 years ago. Sophie has attended each day of Royal Ascot this week, showcasing elegant outfits throughout the racing festival.
Other royal attendees, including Queen Camilla, Princess Beatrice, and Zara Tindall, also made fashion statements with their outfits.
The royal attendance followed some confusion from the previous day when it was initially announced that the Princess of Wales would attend.
Kensington Palace later confirmed her withdrawal from the event, resulting in a revised carriage list being released at the last minute
