Prince William will continue to step out without Princess Kate as he gears up for even more solo engagements next week.
Kensington Palace has announced that the Prince of Wales will take part in two major engagements for London Climate Action Week, which runs from June 21 to 29.
Representing both The Earthshot Prize and the Royal Foundation’s United for Wildlife programme, William will attend events on June 24 and 26.
On June 24, the future king will attend a ‘Leading with Impact’ event in the City of London. Moderated by Earthshot ambassador Robert Irwin and Bloomberg anchor Francine Lacqua, the event will feature a panel including Sir Sadiq Khan and Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes.
Two days later, William will host a roundtable at St James’s Palace to spotlight the role of Indigenous Peoples in protecting the planet — a key topic ahead of COP30.
The announcement comes just a day after Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton stirred confusion after seemingly withdrawing from the Royal Ascot at the eleventh hour.
Although her name was on the attendance list, Princess Catherine was nowhere to be seen at the procession.
However, it was later revealed to have been an error as her name was not supposed to be on the list to begin with.
