Sarah Ferguson attended a special event with King Charles and other royal family members after the Yorks were excluded from the Trooping the Colour.
The Duchess of York stepped out to attend Royal Ascot's opening day after urging people to start taking mental health problems seriously in an emotional message.
Sarah was photographed with her daughter, Princess Beatrice and Princess Anne's daughter, Zara Tindall.
It appears that the monarch honoured Fergie by inviting her to be a part of the royal family's gathering at a racecourse.
For the outing, Sarah wore a beautiful navy blazer and skirt with lace detailing.
It is pertinent to mention that it was the Duchess of York's first public appearance after she opened up about her mental health during her visit to Paracelsus Recovery, a Psychiatric hospital in Zurich.
On her official Instagram page, Sarah shared her photo with medical experts of the clinic with a plea to "promote open conversations about mental health and how we can improve access to mental healthcare across society."
At the end of her statement, she sent a message to her followers to "seek help" if they are struggling with mental distress.
You are not alone, and there is no shame in taking the steps towards healing," Prince Andrew's ex-wife penned.
