Meghan Markle's post for Prince Harry reveals 'strong' message for royals
Royal Expert weighs in on Prince Harry's Father's Day tribute
Meghan Markle's Father's Day tribute to Prince Harry has been interpreted by a royal expert as showing that he "doesn't have it all," despite the song it's set to.
The post featured a heartwarming video of Harry with his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, set to Jason Mraz's Have It All.
However, royal expert Dr Tessa Dunlop believes that the reality of Harry's situation is far from the song's message.
The post came hours after Prince William's Father's Day photo was shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales social media accounts.
According to Dr Dunlop, there was a "vast gulf" between the two posts. "Hail Prince William, the model father.
Or rather the model English father, with a before-and-after duo of professional photographs featuring a handsome, upstanding man, beautifully blended with his children; a foursome united in different shades of 'Norfolk' green," he said.
In contrast, Meghan's post showcased a more relaxed, "Californian vibe" with Harry being a hands-on dad.
"A hotch-potch of sunbaked vibes, bubble machines and sea-side shots cast to the Jason Mraz track 'Have it all.' Except Harry doesn’t have it all," Dr noted.
Moreover, body language expert Judi James also weighed in on the difference between the two posts, noting that Meghan's video showed a strong message of freedom for Harry and the children.
"The basic display tone of this video, that is a narrative of clips of Harry being a father, is very different to the one the UK royals tend to use for their Father's Day poses," Judi said.
"There is also a very strong message of freedom for the children and Harry here, too."
