Kate Middleton's outfit repeat proves classic fashion is all about versatility
Princess Kate once again proved her flair for timeless and sustainable fashion as she stepped out in a familiar ensemble at the prestigious Order of the Garter service, joining other senior members of the Royal Family for the grand occasion.
For the event, the Princess of Wales wore a cream Tailored Boucle and Chiffon Midi Dress by Self Portrait, complemented perfectly with a chic hat by designer Sean Barrett, reported GB News.
The 43-year-old royal complemented her elegant look with a faux pearl necklace by Susan Caplan-a £275 piece that quickly sold out after she first wore it earlier this year, thanks to the 'Kate effect.'
But eagle-eyed royal fans noticed this was not the first time Kate had styled this particular outfit. She had previously donned the same dress, necklace, and shoes during the VE Day celebratory concert in May.
However, she gave the look a fresh twist this time with a white hat and matching clutch, instead of the black accessories she carried at the concert.
One fan commented on social media, praising her thoughtful styling: 'Kate showing how to wear the same look differently for different occasions.
'Same dress, jewellery, and shoes as the VE Day concert but white hat and clutch today instead of black. I love them both! Different looks but they both really work', she praised.
Interestingly, this Self Portrait creation made its first public appearance back in September 2021, when the Princess wore it at a reception honouring contributions to her Hold Still photography project.
