Princess Anne's daughter to be honoured despite absence at key royal ceremony
King Charles’s beloved niece, Zara Tindall, may not be a full-time working royal but she will be honoured during a significant ceremony at Windsor Castle.
The King and his wife Queen Camilla will be attending the annual Order of the Garter service at the St George’s Chapel and then head back to the Castle by carriage.
According to a jewellery expert, while Princess Anne’s daughter may not be in attendance, she will have a special nod from the Queen as she puts a significant piece of jewellery on display for the event.
Expert Tobias Kormind told GB News that Camilla can be “expected to complement the distinctive dark blue velvet robes with sophisticated jewels of historic significance”.
He noted that last year she wore a “pearl choker featuring a diamond and topaz clasp, which can also be worn separately as a brooch”. The unique piece has become a signature element of her ceremonial attire.
“This exquisite piece, dating back to the 1830s, was purchased for Camilla in the early 2000s and has since been a staple in her collection,” he shared. “[She has] worn at numerous royal occasions including the wedding of Zara Phillips to Mike Tindall and Trooping the Colour.”
The expert suggested the Camilla would “likely continue to opt for pieces that have historical importance while adding a personal touch to her look”.
