Princess Eugenie raises awareness about major health issue in new video
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter makes new appearance to discuss important cause
Princess Eugenie raised awareness about a vital cause in a new video after her future role in the royal family was unveiled.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is the patron of Scoliosis Support and Research, sat down for an online discussion about the disease.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter Eugenie herself underwent scoliosis surgery as a child.
In order to mark Scoliosis Awareness Month 2025, Eugenie reflected on "being diagnosed with scoliosis at a young age—and the emotional impact it can have," with two inspiring members of the scoliosis community.
As per her new Instagram post, The mother-of-two talked to "Emily Hale, a specialist spinal physiotherapist, and Riley James, who recently ran the London Marathon following spinal fusion surgery."
In a video, the trio highlighted the importance of early detection of Scoliosis, which could help to recover soon.
"For many, it comes unexpectedly and brings confusion, fear, and isolation... The sooner scoliosis is spotted, the better the chances for support and successful treatment," the statement alongside the video reads.
It is important to note that Princess Eugenie's new appearance came after royal commentator Ingrid Seward revealed the York sisters' royal future.
"When William ascends the throne, Beatrice and Eugenie will be valuable assets, and I’m certain they will get involved with royal duties. It makes perfect sense, because he will need them," she told Hello! Magazine.
