King Charles' Trooping the Colour outfit sparks debate over uniform mistake

Royal fans have noticed a big mistake in King Charles' Trooping the Colour outfit.

The grand celebration, held Saturday, June 14, marks the monarch's official birthday.

Every year, the festivities conclude with an RAF flypast, as senior members of the Royal Family gather on the Buckingham Palace balcony to greet cheering crowds.

Trooping the Colour has been a valued tradition celebrated every June for centuries. However, some observant royal fans claim to have spotted a potential mistake in King Charles' attire during last year's parade.

Taking to Reddit, one fan said: 'There seems to be a faux pas in the King's uniform of Colonel-in-Chief of the Irish Guards at Trooping the Colour today.

'He seems to be wearing the sash of a general officer's rather than appropriate colonel's sash for the regiment.'

Another added:' Good catch! I think that probably is a faux pas. Of course we could retrospectively justify it by saying it's his army and he can wear what he likes.'

Meanwhile, during yesterday's parade, a lip-reader expert shed light on a tense exchange involving King Charles.

As the cameras zoomed in on King Charles and Queen Camilla riding together, the monarch appeared deeply engaged in a spirited conversation.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman provided insight into what was said-revealing what the King expressed frustration with the words: 'Absolutely crazy, disgrace, absolutely extraordinary.'

Though parts of the exchange were unclear, Freeman claims the King also muttered phrases like 'on my way out' and Meanwhile, not like me. That's the difference between me and him.'

The person King Charles was referring to remains unknown, but these remarks come amid growing tension between the monarch and his brother Prince Andrew over the future of Royal Lodge, reported Mirror.
