Prince Harry makes big announcement about UK return
Prince Harry excites fans with major update after King Charles emotional encounter
Prince Harry made an exciting announcement about his return to his homeland amid growing tensions with the royal family.
On June 10, the Duke of Sussex's team finally revealed the dates of the much-awaited Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
In an official post on the Invictus Games' Instagram page, Harry's spokesperson shared that the event will begin on July 10 and end on July 17.
The opening ceremony will take place on July 10, 2027 and the closing ceremony will be held on 17th of July.
The statement reads, "This will be a Games to remember with 23 incredible sports, including brand new additions like e-sport, pickleball, and laser run bringing fresh energy to the Invictus spirit!"
"Birmingham will be buzzing as we welcome competitors, families, and fans from across the globe for a powerful celebration of recovery and community."
It is pertinent to note that Harry issued an update on his UK return after his father King Charles had an emotional encounter during his latest royal engagement.
The monarch performed a years-long royal tradition, Ceremony of the Keys, at Lancaster Castle on June 9.
During his visit, a group of anti-monarchists and royal fans gathered upon the King's arrival.
Notably, a well-wisher of the royal family "confronted" the Republic CEO Graham Smith, showcasing her support to the cancer-stricken King.
