Prince Harry surprise move to 'overshadow' father King Charles backfires
Prince Harry deals with major blow as King Charles makes power move
Prince Harry failed to leave an impression with his recent surprise move, which he called a need of an hour.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex recently visited Shanghai to urge the Asia-Pacific (APAC) travel industry to "strengthen its commitment to sustainable tourism and collective climate goals."
However, Harry has been called out for flying all the way from the US to China in order to promote sustainability. Not only that, he delivered a speech on stage during the same time as his father King Charles' historic Canada tour.
Now, royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror, "It seems to have made very little news at all. If the idea was to garner as much publicity for the cause as possible, it would seem to have fallen rather short."
She claimed that Harry failed to "overshadow" his father King Charles and Queen Camilla's official state visit.
Jennie further shared, "The irony of flying across the world to promote sustainable, environmentally friendly travel is hard to ignore."
She questioned, "Surely a video speech would have been more ethical?" keeping in mind Harry's mission to save the climate.
