Princess Beatrice's fashion choice sends empowering message to new moms

Princess Beatrice impressed royal fans with her elegant fashion choice at the 2025 Matrix Awards in New York City.

The Princess of York looked elegant in a black cocktail dress designed by Rebecca Vallance just four months after giving birth to her second daughter, Athena.

Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Sarah Ferguson made a stylish appearance at the event while posing alongside Spotify's chief public affairs officer, Dustee Jenkins.

Notably the royal had previously worn the same dress in October 2024, just three months before welcoming baby Athena, in January 2025. 

By confidently rewearing a maternity dress post-pregnancy, Beatrice highlighted her practical and empowering approach to fashion, breaking the stigma many women face around reusing maternity rewear.

Her fashion choice also reflected fondness towards designer Rebecca Vallance, as this marked the second time in less than two weeks that she wore a piece by the brand.
