Meghan Markle compares naming babies to launching business
Meghan Markle advises parents to keep baby names 'secret' until birth
Meghan Markle sat down for the final episode of the podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder with Sara Blakely, the founder of SPANX.
During their candid conversation, the Duchess offered heartfelt advice advice to expectant parents-urging them to keep their baby name choices private until after the child is born.
'If you have an idea about what you are going to name that baby, you keep it so close to your heart, until that is born and it's named,' Meghan said firmly.
Meghan, who shares two children- Archie and Lilibet with Prince Harry, compared naming children to naming companies, noting the processes are 'not dissimilar.'
During the chat, Meghan likened the early stages of launching a business to creating a 'SurveyMonkey' where everyone offers opinion on various aspects of the venture, including the name.
Meghan emphasised that both babies and business deserve protection from outside influence until they are fully established.
