Benedict Cumberbatch, wife Sophie Hunter celebrate big milestone together
Benedict Cumberbatch’s wife joined him to mark memorable moment together
Benedict Cumberbatch had his movie premiere for Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme at Cannes Film Festival and his proud wife Sophie Hunter was by his side.
The 48-year-old Hollywood star co-stars in the movie with major celebrities like Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson.
For the premiere, Hunter donned a vintage 1950s-themed red gown which complimented her rosy-toned makeup and curled her short hair. She completed her look with silver earrings and brown sunglasses.
Whereas the Sherlock star for his part sported a black tuxedo at the premiere, with one of his arms in a sling because of some mysterious injury.
The couple posed lovingly for the camera as they walked the red-carpet, arm in arm.
Although the lovebirds make red-carpet appearances once in a blue moon, they mostly keep their relationship away from the public eye.
Cumberbatch and Hunter have been together since 2009 after they met on the set of Burlesque Fairytales.
They took the vows in 2015 and now share three children.
The upcoming movie follows a wealthy father-daughter duo who are targeted by mafia groups and assassins who are after their estate.
Cumberbatch plays the role of Uncle Nubar for the movie, but nothing much is yet disclosed about his character.
