Jennifer Lawrence recently made a stunning appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival with Robert Pattinson to attend the premiere of their film, Die, My Love.
Directed by Lynne Ramsay, the film follows the story of a young mother Grace, who is battling with serious post-natal mental illness, which takes a toll on her marriage to Jackson.
Earlier today, the 34-year-old spoke with the Cannes presser and told them that she was five months pregnant while shooting the film.
Therefore, Jennifer was having difficulty catching momentum of the character due to hormonal imbalance and identity crisis.
“I’m not an actor who brings the work home. It’s part hormonal imbalance, but she’s also having an identity crisis — who am I as a mother, as a wife as a sexual person”, she added.
Lawrence continued, “She’s plagued with this feeling that she’s disappearing. The only way for me to dip into some of this visceral emotion.”
“Also, in terms of my performance, I had Lynne Ramsay as my director”, The Hunger Games actress confessed.
She further unveiled that she had a dream of working with Ramsey ever since Ratcatcher came out.
