Joe Alwyn sparks debate among Taylor Swift fans after recent move

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up two years ago but fans stirred up a new controversy about the former couple.

In a resurfaced picture, The Brutalist star, 34, was spotted at a hotel where his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend Travis Kelce were seen a day before.

The Conversations with Friends actor was allegedly at the venue for an event hosted by Gucci, but it caused him a lot of backlash.

Swifties claimed that it was creepy for Alwyn to visit the famous hotel, Chiltern Firehouse, in June 2024, where the pop superstar went with Kelce and some of her other friends after her Eras Tour shows in London.

Forty eight hours after the Anti-Hero hitmaker enjoyed her date at the celebrity hotspot, Alwyn was seen exiting the hotel only after staying for twenty minutes.

A social media user wrote on X, “Joe alwyn going to this club the day after for only 10 minutes just to get papped and leave is still the creepiest thing a Taylor ex ever done”.

Another added, “The idiots saying he was invited to a Gucci event, I’ve never been invited to a party and only stayed to get a picture for 10 minutes and leave. He then proceeded to say sh8t like tayvis’ relationship is over the top or whatever. Dumba*s yogurt boy!”

“I mean creep just fits him”, a third chimed in.

On the other hand, some seemed to support Alwyn, as one wrote, “How's that creepy if it wasn't the same day?”

Another echoed the sentiment, “he was at a private gucci event that multiple celebrities attended such as salma hayek and ryan gosling what was he supposed to do? tell them to change the location just bc his ex had dinner there a night before lol he doesn’t care about her stop writing fanfics”.
