Chris Pratt’s ex-wife Anna Faris gives rare statement gushing over their son
Anna Faris is beaming with pride over her 12-year-old son Jack, especially after how he handled a tough situation.
Following the recent Los Angeles fires that destroyed their home, the Mom alum opened up about her son’s resilience, sharing rare comments about him in an interview with Us Weekly.
"He’s handled the situation with the fires well," Faris, 48, said, adding, "I really appreciate that."
While promoting her partnership with Scrubbing Bubbles, the actress also spoke with People, expressing gratitude for the kind and grounded young man her son is becoming.
"He's always had such a solid anchor," she shared. "I don't know where, being a kid in Hollywood, he got that."
Acknowledging his down-to-earth nature, she added, "I don't know how he got so down-to-earth, but I'm really grateful."
Faris shares Jack with ex-husband Chris Pratt, 45.
The former couple, who married in 2009, separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce the following year. However, they’ve remained committed co-parents, ensuring their son’s well-being always comes first.
Both have since moved on and remarried—Faris tied the knot with cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021, while Pratt wed Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, with whom he now shares three children.
Despite the changes in their lives, one thing remains constant: Faris’ unwavering admiration for her son. And if Jack’s ability to stay grounded through Hollywood life and natural disasters is any indication, she has every reason to be proud.
