Charli XCX to play lead in Greta Gerwig's new flick
James Bond famed Daniel Craig will most likely be joining hands with filmmaker Greta Gerwig for her next fantasy project.
Daniel after biding farewell to his 007 character is now expected to feature in Barbie director’s upcoming film.
Greta is making a new movie based on C.S. Lewis' iconic fantasy novels Chronicles of Narnia. The movie is currently in the early stage off development and will be streamed on Netflix.
As per the reports of Deadline, Craig has been offered to play a key role. However, it is yet unknown which character he would be playing.
Insiders says that it is still not confirmed whether the 57-year-old will be featuring in the children’s adventure film as he has not yet signed up on the project.
Daniel’s casting rumours came after news came out that singer Charli XCX has been taken on-board to play a major role in Gerwig’s directorial.
The 41-year-old director has specially convinced the streaming company to allow her to screen an extended run of the movie on IMAX worldwide on November 26, Thanksgiving Day in 2026.
Chronicles of Narnia will release on Netflix on 2026 Christmas.
