Blake Lively breaks silence after sparking feud rumours with Anna Kendrick
Blake Lively says she felt nothing but 'love' at the 'Another Simple Favor' premiere with Anna Kendrick
Blake Lively felt nothing but love at her first movie premiere since the ongoing legal feud with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
Despite facing fresh rumours of tension with her Another Simple Favor co-star Anna Kendrick, Lively was beaming in pictures from the movie’s premiere at SXSW over the weekend.
In the pictures, posted to Lively’s Instagram on Tuesday, March 11,
“Watching @asimplefavor opening night @sxsw felt like a rock concert,” the Gossip Girl alum wrote. “Making this movie was already the gift... To share it with you all and feel the love returned to us was the best feeling.”
Lively, 37, appeared unfazed while walking the red carpet at Austin’s Paramount Theater, turning heads in a pink latex gown. She mingled with fans and took selfies inside the venue, but some noticed apparent tension between her and Kendrick.
When asked about working with Lively again, the Pitch Perfect star simply responded, “Oh, you know…” before walking away. Director Paul Feig, however, shut down speculation of any rift.
The SXSW appearance comes as Lively remains locked in a legal war with Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment while filming It Ends With Us in 2024. She also alleged he launched a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni denied the claims and fired back with a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
