'John Wick 5' gets exciting update after Keanu Reeves kills hope of new film

John Wick fans have been eagerly waiting to hear a promising update about another sequel ever since the fourth part released.

Rumours have been circulating all around social media regarding a new entry for the past few months, but no confirmation was being made by the makers.

Besides, lead actor Keanu Reeves also made a statement a few days ago dismissing the chances of a fifth installment.

Earlier today, news came out that production company Lionsgate boss has finally confirmed John Wick 5.

While talking about their upcoming projects, she spilled that another Chad Stahelski film is in development.

Executive Jenefer Brown shared, "Of course, we've announced we're working on a fifth John Wick film. I think there are more spin-offs to come, a TV series, video game."

However, Brown announced that the film is in works, but she also updated that the makers are figuring out a plot at the moment.

"We've shared that we're developing a fifth 'John Wick' film... (John Wick) may be (dead). We are all on baited breath waiting to find out”, Jenefer explained.

John Wick: Chapter 4 was released in 2023 that featured Reeves along with Bill Skarsgård and Ian McShane.
