Liam Payne psychiatrist unveils shocking details post 1D member's death
Liam Payne's psychiatrist shares the disturbing truth about singer’s mental health before his death in October
Liam Payne’s sudden death left One Direction fans shocked and devastated.
Investigation into the singer’s untimely demise has been underway since his fatal fall from the third-floor balcony of an Argentinean hotel. Particularly, shocking details about Payne's mental health have come to light, including struggles with substance use and depression.
Recently, TMZ reported that the psychiatrist treating the 32-year-old had refused to treat him further as she recommended him to seek “higher level of care” than what she could offer the young artist.
Reportedly in a letter submitted in an Argentina court, the psychiatrist, “after careful consideration and assessment,” categorically told Liam to seek therapy from another consultant as the level of care required to deal with the mental health issues faced by the crooner was beyond her skillset.
The letter further read, “Thank you for your understanding, and I wish you the very best in your continued journey toward mental health and well-being.”
For the unversed, the world of One Direction fans was shaken when, on 29th October, Liam bode farewell to this world at such a tender age.
As per the findings of the investigative team, the death was ruled out as suicide; reports pointed to “multiple traumas”, including hemorrhages in his chest, skull and abdomen. Moreover, multiple drugs were also found in his system.
Up until now, five people have been charged in the ongoing investigation.
