'Squid Game' season 2: Exciting details from series revealed
Squid Game season 2 was released on Netflix on December 26, 2024
Squid Game's creators have seemingly made a major change in the second season of the highly-anticipated series.
As reported by The Sun, an insider has recently disclosed that the makers of the thriller mystery TV show have returned with the exact opposite of season 1.
The tipster added that the audience is expected to find fewer murders in the new season as compared to part one of the series.
The source stated, "Most of that was down to the eye-popping murder games, the likes of which had never been seen beyond Hunger Games and Battle Royale."
"Instead of hooking fans with the same kind of horror in series two, makers have done the exact opposite. You'll find more than two murders in an average episode of a British soap," the insider added.
The nail-biting second season consisted of seven episodes and was released on Netflix on December 26, 2024.
It is important to note that the South Korean survival thriller-horror series, Squid Game, is directed by the renowned filmmaker Hwang Dong-hyuk.
The superhit series also stars Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-joon, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Jin-wook, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-shim, and Lee Seo-hwan.
