Jennifer Aniston has recently reflected on the true essence of Christmas.

On December 25, the Friends alum signified the importance of going through change this year in a video shared on Instagram Story.

The clip started with wishing “Merry Christmas to anyone who feels a bit different this year”.

It talked about taking “holidays” as a “check point”, to explore all of the things that had changed in the last year.

The video focused on people who had seen heartbreak this year, experienced some loss or did some healing – all those who had made it through this year.

It gave a message of hope and resilience to all those whose “Christmas isn’t the same” this year.

Earlier, Jennifer offered an insight into her festive preparations for Christmas.

The Horrible Bosses actress even showed one of her most prized ornaments, which was a jar of green olives.

“If you know me, you know,” wrote Jennifer in the caption.

Meanwhile, the Murder Mystery actress posted a throwback clip from her Friends show featuring all the cast.

She penned, “Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone!”
