Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy ready to give statement amid singer’s death probe

Liam Payne’s tragic death is still being investigated two months after his demise.

Many suspects have been taken into custody to investigate the former One Direction band member's sudden passing.

As per the latest development, the New York Post article that publicized on December 25 suggested that the authorities have reached out Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy asking her to give a witness statement to highlight events surrounding the 31-year-old’s death.

The investigative authorities believe that Kate’s statement could provide valuable information that will be helpful for the inquiry.

Supposedly, the 25-year-old's closed pal has informed the publication that Cassidy is 'willing to help in any way'.

“She’s going to help in any way she can. She wants the right people to be brought to justice, and if that takes her answering their questions, she going to do it.”

The source further opened: “She tried for a long time to help him get clean and is still haunted by what happened. Anyone who provided drugs to Liam should be prosecuted.”

Liam and Kate were dating each other for almost two years and were soon going to tie the knot as per the Teardrops singer’s final note that he left for his better half.

The Strip That Down singer passed away on October 16 after falling down the balcony of a hotel in Argentina.
