Billie Eilish responds to Rihanna’s ‘dream collaborator’ comment
Billie Eilish speaks highly of Rihanna in a magazine interview
Billie Eilish sings praises for her ‘idol’ Rihanna as she addresses her “dream collaborator” comment.
Earlier in October, speaking to Access Hollywood at the launch of RiRi's Fenty X Puma collection, the Barbadian singer called Billie a “dream collaborator”.
Now, the Happier than Ever singer shared her thoughts about Rihanna in a new interview for Complex Magazine.
“I thought it was AI, first of all,” admitted the 22-year-old.
Billie told the outlet, “I've never met Rihanna. She's my idol. She's the greatest of all time.”
“She's my complete dream collab,” said the Lovely crooner.
Billie pointed out that she doesn’t “even answer that question when people are like, Who would you like to collab with?’”
However, the Ocean Eyes singer stated, “I always think Rihanna.”
“I'm not going to say that, though! Why would I say that?! It's not real. I would think, like, ‘She probably doesn't even like me,’” mentioned the songstress.
Billie jokingly said, “I have never heard from her and I've never had any interaction with her, ‘so why would I have ever even thought about it?'”
“Honestly. What do you mean, ‘If only?’ It's, like, as if I've been saying, ‘No.’ Rihanna! Riri? I'll do anything you want. That's insane,” added the musician.
