Barry Keoghan in hot water over infidelity claims amid Sabrina Carpenter split
It was recently confirmed that Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter called it quits after a year-long romance
Barry Keoghan has landed in hot water over infidelity rumours amid his recent breakup with Sabrina Carpenter.
Shortly after a source confirmed to People that the Batman star and the Espresso hitmaker called it quits after a year-long romance to focus on their respective careers, Daily Mail reported that a blind item on Deuxmoi claimed the breakup was a result of Keoghan, 32, cheating on the Please Please Please chart-topper.
"It appears that this A-list singer, who’s having her breakout year, and her foreign actor boyfriend are done for good," the blind item read on the gossip site.
"On the closing night of her biggest tour to date in LA, he was getting very cosy at San Vicente Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous, LA-based influencer (who’s particularly big on TikTok)," it continued.
While the blind item did not explicitly name Carpenter, 25, or the Saltburn actor, fans were quick to assume it referred to the former couple.
"He had messed up before, and she had forgiven him, but nothing as serious as infidelity. That’s where she draws the line," the item added.
It is pertinent to note that both celebrities have remained tight-lipped about their breakup, and no official statement has been issued confirming the reason for the split.
