Palace shares statement as Kate Middleton decides not to wear tiara
Kate Middleton's decision leaves fans saddened
Kate Middleton, who's focusing to remain cancer free after completing her chemotherapy treatment, won't attend a major royal event this week.
The Princess of Wales, who's gradually returning to work, will not be donning a sparkly tiara as she will be missing out on Tuesday evening celebrations with other royals at State Banquet.
Kensington Palace has already confirmed that Kate is preparing for her Christmas carol service event, which is set to be held on December 6.
Buckingham Palace has also released a statement to announce that the Qatari royals, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani will be hosted at glittering State Banquet by the King Charles and Queen Camilla.
State Banquets are usually one of the very few white-tie events the royals attend, so it is unlikely the Princess will step out in a tiara until next year.
Princess Catherine's decision has left royal fans saddened as they were excited to see their favourite royal wearing a sparkly tiara.
It is to mention here that it will be the last state banquet held at Buckingham Palace for three years, due to extensive refurbishment works at the royal property. Windsor Castle will host any future state visits until the £369million refurbishment works are complete.
However, William and Kate will take part in the carriage procession to Horse Guards Parade where the Emir will receive a ceremonial welcome before meeting the King and Queen.
