Jamie Foxx to address health crisis, Diddy ‘poisoning' rumours on Netflix special
Jamie Foxx to talk about connection between health crisis and Diddy in Netflix special
Jamie Foxx is soon to break silence on his health crisis, and link it to Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The actor is opening up about his life experiences as he prepares for the release of his upcoming Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Was....
The actor and comedian, 56, shared his gratitude on Instagram, reflecting on his journey and expressing excitement for the project.
"Cannot say it enough that I am blessed to be able to tell my story in my own way," Foxx wrote on Sunday. "So many people to thank, so many people have prayed…"
Foxx also thanked fans in Atlanta, where he recently returned to the stand-up stage after an 18-year hiatus.
"A big shoutout to Atlanta—you showed up and showed out, made me feel at home, made me feel safe after 18 years of not being on stage. You made it feel like it was just yesterday… can’t wait for everyone to experience the vibe that we had," he wrote.
Reflecting on the experience of filming the special, Foxx described it as emotional and meaningful.
"It was like going to church… we laughed… we had a few tears… but last, but not least, we celebrated life… and second chances… cannot wait," the Oscar winner said.
In the special, Foxx reportedly addresses various rumors, including speculation surrounding the health crisis he suffered last year.
According to audience members who attended the taping at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre in early October, Foxx discussed controversial topics, including allegations involving music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Choke No Joke, a producer-director who attended the performances, shared details in an interview with Comedy Hype's YouTube channel.
He claimed Foxx said during one of the shows that "Diddy was responsible for what happened to him" and referred to himself as "the one who called the FBI on" Combs.
Combs, 54, has faced legal trouble recently, including his September arrest in New York City on federal sex trafficking charges.
Foxx’s comments about the situation have added to the intrigue surrounding his upcoming special, which is set to offer insight into his life and second chances.
