Jin makes bold confession about his future with BTS
Jin reveals whether he will stay with BTS after releasing his debut solo album 'Happy'
Jin set the record straight once and for all for those who wanted to know whether he would leave BTS sooner or later.
During a recent interview with Billboard Korea, the BTS sensation was asked about his plans to start another band, to which he replied in a way that made the BTS ARMY proud of him.
"The only band I, now and forever, will be part of is BTS," Jin, 31, made it very clear that he will forever be loyal to BTS. "Band music is a genre I’m personally interested in, and I enjoy exploring different styles as a solo artist."
"But at the end of the day, my roots and connection to music will always be with BTS," he added.
Although Jimin, Jungkook, J Hope, RM, Suga, and V have all kicked off their solo careers, and Jin was the last of the seven BTS members to release his debut solo album, there are no plans for anyone to join another band or pursue a solo career full-time.
On November 15, Jin, who completed his mandatory military service on June 12, released his first-ever solo album, Happy.
The album features six tracks, including the pre-released single I’ll Be There and the title track Running Wild.
Other tracks include Another Level, Falling, Heart on the Window, and I Will Come to You.
