Beverly Hills cop star Judge Reinhold pays tribute to his Sarge & Brother John Ashton following his death at 76.
Looking back on their on-screen partnership as by-the-book detectives Taggart and Rosewood in the popular comedy series, Ashton reflected on his late friend's death.
He recalled, “Thursday night John seemed like he was sleeping but the Yankees were on. They won the game, clinched the division then John made it to home.
"Forty years of laughs on screen and off. John LIVED his life! My brother, my partner, my Sarge – I love you. There’s no smoking in Heaven, John.”
Fans thronged the comments section with heartwarming comments for the late actor.
One fan commented, "At least he shared the big screen with you and Eddie one last time."

Meanwhile, Ashton's representative opened up to Deadline about his death, confirming that the actor passed away on Thursday, September 26.
