Ye performed his new song 'Beauty and the Beast' in his first concert in China in 16 years
Kanye West has secretly been cooking in the studio.
The 47-year-old rapper announced his upcoming album Bully during a live performance at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China, on Saturday, September 28 — just a few months after releasing Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign.
As part of the announcement, Ye also debuted a new track from the album titled Beauty and the Beast.
“I got a new album coming out,” Ye shared with the audience toward the end of the show, as captured in fan videos. “The album’s called Bully, and this song is called Beauty and the Beast.”
However, he did not announce an official release date of the album.
This marked Ye's first performance in China in 16 years.
Earlier in September, he performed alongside Ty Dolla $ign, promoting their Vultures collaboration. The duo, has already released two albums this year, with Vultures 1 debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, followed by Vultures 2 reaching No. 2.
