Jeremy Dufrene's ex reacts to his sudden wedding to Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey and her new husband, Jeremy Dufrene, are garnering nothing but best wishes even from his ex-fiancée.

Kelli Welsh, who was engaged to the alligator tour guide for over a decade, spoke to the Daily Mail on Saturday, September 28, following the recent nuptials of Dufrene, 49, with the famous singer.

"I am in shock because we were engaged for 12 years, and he got married after one month," she reflected on the whirlwind wedding ceremony.

Although Welsh, 45, was surprised by the news, she assured everyone that she was “happy” for her ex, in addition to expressing her admiration for him.

"He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man," she continued. "He has always been a giver, so to have someone give to him, he deserves it."

"He is a very solid guy," Dufrene’s former love interest raved, adding what makes him more attractive. "His ability to love and care and protect people makes him so attractive."

The 39-year-old Del Rey, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, exchanged vows with Dufrene in an intimate ceremony in Des Allemandes, La., on Thursday, September 26.

The Summertime Sadness hitmaker was looking effortlessly beautiful in a flowing white gown as she walked down the aisle with her father, Robert Grant.
