Ben Affleck enjoys ice cream outing with kids in LA

Ben Affleck indulged in a sweet treat during a relaxed Friday outing with his kids, Fin and Samuel, in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. 

The Good Will Hunting star was spotted enjoying quality time with his children, just days after news broke that his divorce from Jennifer Lopez had been 'pre-planned.'

Affleck, dressed casually in a dark green button-up and khaki pants, paired with black-and-white Nike sneakers, was seen flashing a subtle smile as he strolled toward an ice cream parlor. 

His outing comes in the wake of Lopez's notable divorce filing earlier this week—on their second wedding anniversary—fueling ongoing rumors of the couple's split. 

The actor shares his kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he also co-parents their eldest daughter, Violet, 18. 

Just last weekend, the former couple dropped Violet off at college in Connecticut, marking a major milestone for their family.

A source recently told Us Weekly that the pair maintains a strong bond, describing their co-parenting relationship as exceptional. 

"Ben has confided in Jen," the insider shared, adding that they are friends with a "mutual understanding that their kids come first."

According to the source, there's a "deep level of trust and respect" between Affleck and Garner, which has helped them navigate their post-divorce relationship with ease.
