The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a joint appearance on CBS News, discussing their meaningful initiative to combat cyberbullying and its negative impact on the mental health of youngsters.
However, it has been observed that the former working royal was left anxious when Meghan opened up about her mental struggles during their time in the royal family.
Jane Pauley, the host of CBS Sunday Morning asked Meghan to reflect on her statement about battling suicidal thoughts from Oprah's bombshell show, which raised concerns in the royal family.
In response, the former Suits actress said, "I wasn't expecting it." Later, she added, "When you've been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe part of our healing journey, certainly part of mine, is being able to be really open about it."
The mother-of-three continued, "I have not really scrapped the surface of my experience but I do think that I would never want someone else to feel that way and I would never want someone else to be making those plans..."
It is important to mention that the Montecito couple did not mention any member of the royal family during their new TV appearance, hinting at their goodwill gesture for the Britons.
