Ryan Reynolds cashes in on ‘free belly rubs’ offer: 'Don’t think I won’t'
'Deadpool & Wolverine' star Ryan Reynolds is all in to enjoy post-film perks
Ryan Reynolds didn’t miss a beat in accepting an offer for free belly rubs following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.
On Sunday, August 4, the 47-year-old actor took to his Instagram Stories to share his hilarious response to a playful billboard from a veterinarian hospital.
"Free belly rubs with exams. Sorry, pets only and Ryan Reynolds," the billboard read. Sharing this on his profile, the avid dog lover matched the comedic vibe with a cheeky response.
"Don’t think for a second I won’t come in to redeem this offer," Reynolds wrote below the picture, adding humorously, "Belly rubs are why I became a golden retriever in the first place."
The Deadpool star, along with his wife Blake Lively, are parents to three daughters and one son and share four dogs: a golden retriever named Baxter, a mixed breed named Billie, a Labradoodle named Boots, and a Maltipoo named Penny.
In addition, a mixed breed dog named Peggy, also made an appearance in Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s latest release.
In Deadpool & Wolverine, Peggy, a Chinese Crested-Pug mix, plays Dogpool, the dog version of Reynolds’ Deadpool.
The IF star officially introduced Dogpool to fans in November 2023.
