Nina Dobrev recuperating following e-bike accident

Nina Dobrev, known for her role in The Vampire Diaries, found herself in the hospital following an accident on an electric bike. 

The actress shared the unfortunate news on Monday via Instagram, posting a photo from her hospital bed. 

In the image, Dobrev can be seen hooked up to a monitor while wearing both a knee brace and a neck brace.

The post included a series of slides, with the first showing her posing happily on the e-bike in a little black outfit. 

It appeared that the actress attributed her current condition to the e-bike accident, although further details about the incident were not provided.

Following her hospitalization, Nina updated fans on her condition, revealing a "long road of recovery ahead." 

The actress shared the news via Instagram Stories after posting a photo from her hospital bed captioned, "how it started vs how it’s going."

Known for her athleticism and adventurous spirit, Dobrev often shares her sporty pursuits, including outings with boyfriend Shaun White, an Olympian, on social media. 

However, her recent e-bike accident serves as a reminder of the risks involved in such activities.
