Will Smith was supportive of his co-star Vanessa Hudgens as she juggled filming while being pregnant.
The actor, 55, recalled working with the mom-to-be on the fourth instalment in the beloved Bad Boys franchise.
“So, the strike happened [and] when she came back and we had to finish the movie, it was really [about] trying to figure out how to shoot around [the bump]," the Men in Black star told Entertainment Tonight.
Hudgens, 35, returned as weapons expert Kelly after she made her debut in 2020’s Bad Boys for Life.
Smith went on to praise the High School Musical alum as a “hard worker” and shared the words of encouragement he offered to her, especially when doing stunts proved to be a challenge for her.
“I was like, ‘No, don't worry. You’ll always be able to tell your child that they were in this scene with you,’” Smith said.
Hudgens is expecting her first child with her husband, baseball player Cole Tucker, whom she married in December 2023.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die is slated to release on June 7 in theatres.
