WhatsApp is working on a new feature which is an audio call bar designed to improve navigation for user calls.
The Meta app is developing many features recently and this is one of them. Reported by WaBetaInfo, the new option tends to give users enhanced control and convenience when they manage outgoing audio calls throughout the app.
However, the new feature is currently available for selected users. The ones who are part of the Google Play Beta Program for WhatsApp. Additionally, it will also be available in the updated version of WhatsApp for iOS.
Users are allowed to multitask more with this new call bar efficiently within the app. Offering easy access to control the outgoing call, the revamped call bar appears at the top of the layout once when a call is connected and the user shortens it.
The new call bar streamlines this process when the users have to tap the green status bar in order to return to the call. This is a new difference from the previous version.
Saving time and effort by avoiding the need to navigate back to the call screen, users can now mute or end the call directly from the call bar.
